AquaMaid is expanding and we are looking for great people to join our team, get AquaFresh certified, and grow within our company.

The Cleaner is responsible for a variety of customer-facing activities. As the representative of AquaMaid Ltd., you will provide a high level of customer service by performing duties to meet company standards and customer site requirements. You will possess excellent attention to detail, the desire to leave a site spotless, and conduct yourself professionally in a friendly and helpful manner.

Duties

  • Arrive on time and complete work within expected timelines.
  • Be prepared for shift and wearing company uniform.
  • Get supplies and keys from customer sites.
  • Pick up and return company vehicles; drive in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Complete vehicle log, post-trip and vehicle maintenance requirements.
  • Complete daily timesheets.
  • Clean to company standards: 1 – Dust, 2 – Floor.
  • Maintain and perform cleaning requirements for each customer site.
  • Ensure customer offices/sites are left secured.
  • Participate in customer training as necessary.
  • Identify and report changes or unusual occurrences.
  • Identify and report supplies or equipment deficiencies.
  • Communicate daily via text or other required method.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's licence with clean abstract.
  • Provide and keep clean criminal record report.
  • Ability to meet work schedule.
  • Ability to meet customers' safety requirements.
  • Follow customer drug and alcohol policies and safety procedures when required.
  • Demonstrates ability to keep alert and observe surroundings.
  • Solid experience in the use, care and handling of cleaning products and equipment.
  • Success in meeting company quality control standards for each customer site.
  • Strong observation, problem identification and resolution skills.

  • Excellent and proactive communication.

You will evaluate cleanliness from the customer's perspective, complete the QC log, and ensure every site meets AquaMaid's exacting standards. This role typically operates between 9 PM and 2 AM.

  • Arrive on time; complete work shifts between 9 PM – 2 AM.
  • Responsible for inspecting the cleanliness of sites and finding opportunities for improvement.
  • Make sure the team cleans sites to company standards.
  • Ensure customer offices/sites are left secured.
  • Communicate repeated cleaning mistakes with supervisor and owner.
  • Keep a QC log of what is not cleaned.
  • Pick up and return company vehicles; drive in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Complete vehicle log, post-trip and vehicle maintenance requirements.
  • Complete daily timesheets.
  • Participate in QC training as necessary.
  • Identify and report changes or unusual occurrences.
  • Identify and report supplies or equipment deficiencies.
  • Communicate daily via text or other required method.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
